The ESB 9000 Series (Novemila) speakers proudly claim the high-end segment and are among the most technologically advanced car speakers ever made. And also the most elegant! Technology and design come together in a new and unusual aesthetic thanks to the exceptional flower shape around the tweeter membrane and also on the woofer and midrange speaker baskets. However, this luxurious design was not created solely from an aesthetic point of view. It is an expression of innovation that allows the acoustic refraction at the edges of the tweeters to be less pronounced and adapts to the speaker design. An analogy can be found in the new Rolls-Royce engines for the most modern aircraft, which have the same shape at the trailing edge. Exactly where the air exits and the main turbulence is created. With the new design, these engines have achieved great advantages such as a 10 dB reduction in cabin noise and a 10% reduction in fuel consumption. However, this is not just a coincidental similarity. The design of both the ESB high-end speakers and the Rolls-Royce engines is based on the same premise: to reduce unwanted sound characteristics at the edges of the speakers and engines, respectively, and to effectively direct the airflow outward. However, this is just one of the many exclusive technologies that you will find in the 9000 model series. It includes a total of six top-of-the-line individual components, two 2-way component systems and three 3-way systems, which will amaze not only with their sound, but also with their unconventional luxury design and exceptional materials.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The ESB Audio 9.6W speakers impress at first glance with their unique design, led by a carbon membrane, a beautiful basket in a floral design and an optional CNC-machined aluminum grille. The membrane is made of vacuum and autoclave pressed high-strength carbon with a module shaped by the M+F system. This guarantees perfect geometry and adhesion of carbon fibers to each other, creating a material with extreme rigidity, very high sound transmission ability, but also with excellent internal damping. And all this at a very low weight and constant performance, because carbon is insensitive to changes in humidity and temperature. The membrane includes a dust jacket also made of carbon fibers, thus forming a perfect whole. With the large-sized voice coil used, the shape, weight and stiffness of the dust jacket have a fundamental influence on ensuring deep, fast and dynamic bass. The NBL rubber suspension is shaped to provide a very smooth, low-yaw motion that becomes increasingly controlled as it approaches the limit. This also contributes to the speaker being extremely dynamic and capable of handling high power. Also worth mentioning is the powder-coated cast aluminum speaker basket, which offers very little resistance to air flow and its shape reduces vibration and resonance. The extremely large voice coil provides one of the highest powers in its class and guarantees unsurpassed performance and dynamics of the speaker. The construction of this voice coil allows it to remain completely immersed in the magnetic field for most of its excursion, thus minimizing distortion. The front of the voice coil is made of aluminum with ventilation holes and is black anodized to better dissipate heat. The undercut voice coil has a shorter winding length than the magnetic gap height, allowing for lower distortion at lower excursions and more precise control over the voice coil movement. The generously dimensioned and very strong neodymium magnet is resistant to high temperatures and allows for a significant reduction in the size and volume of the magnetic motor. The equivalent magnetic force with a ferrite magnet would require dimensions larger than the entire speaker. The pole plate obtained using a numerically controlled machine, not by pressing, significantly reduces design tolerances in favor of performance. A series of channels supply cooling air, thereby increasing the woofer’s performance and its lifespan.
