The Audiofrog GS40 is a 4″ (100mm) premium-grade midrange loudspeaker designed for listeners seeking high-fidelity performance with a focus on value and installation flexibility. While it shares much of the engineering DNA with the flagship GB series, the GS40 is optimized for use in both active and passive systems, featuring a non-resonant, injection-molded ABS plastic and fiberglass vented basket. Its motor includes a unique neodymium bucking magnet atop the pole piece, which redirects magnetic energy into the gap to increase motor strength and sensitivity, ensuring clear, articulate midrange reproduction even in standard factory locations.
