These 2-way speakers feature a rigid, reinforced special Kevlar woofer cone that delivers focused midrange and strong midbass punch, even during high-volume playback. A tough rubber surround supports the cone, so this speaker will stand up to the inevitable abuse that awaits all car speakers. And if you crank old favorites through these speakers, the synthetic fiber dome tweeter will reveal the natural detail that your factory speakers couldn’t even hope to reproduce. With that kind of powerful sound in your car, you might find yourself taking the long way home.They look good tooI if you’re planning on a custom installation, Sony includes refined, black grilles for seamless integration into most car interiors. Sony has also trimmed down the overall mounting depth to make this speaker a great fit for more vehicles.
